My Approach

The approach I use is a blend of person-centred and pluralistic theories. Using the combination of these methods acknowledges the individuality of each person, emphasising that therapy can be customised to meet unique needs.

In my practice, I integrate two-chair therapy alongside creative and expressive techniques, offering these to individuals who find them beneficial. There is no obligation to engage in these techniques if you feel they do not align with your preferences or needs.

I am frequently asked about the difference between counselling and psychotherapy. I have undergone extensive training in psychotherapy, which involves a more in-depth and prolonged educational journey. Nonetheless, I believe these terms can often be used interchangeably.

"The creative process as experienced through the expressive arts is one path to self-discovery, self-esteem and

self-empowerment."

"The shoe that fits one person pinches another; there is not a recipe for living that suits all cases."
