About
Hi, I’m Jasveen Mhajan
As a qualified MBACP Accredited counsellor and psychotherapist, I am dedicated to providing a safe, confidential, and supportive environment that fosters personal growth and emotional wellbeing. I believe every individual deserves a respectful and compassionate space to explore their thoughts, feelings, and lived experiences. Through collaborative therapeutic work, we can thoughtfully explore the challenges you are facing and work towards meaningful, sustainable change.

Before training to be a therapist, I spent over 20 years in the airline industry in a senior leadership role. This experience gave me valuable insight into the pressures of professional responsibility, organisational demands, and the delicate balance between career and family life. My transition into counselling was shaped by my own journey of self-discovery and a longstanding interest in human behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
My approach is warm, thoughtful, and non-judgemental. I aim to create a space where you feel heard and understood, and where you can explore difficult emotions at your own pace. Rather than offering quick solutions, I work alongside you to support deeper understanding, self-awareness, and the development of your own resources for wellbeing.
I am multilingual in Hindi, Punjabi, and Kiswahili; however, therapy sessions are offered in English.

Amid life's complexities, in therapy you find a confidential space to process your feelings without judgment.
This journey can offer clarity and perspective, enabling changes in line with your values. While some situations remain unchanged, you might discover coping strategies or alternative approaches.
Therapy doesn't offer quick fixes or solutions. Instead, I'll stand by you, using thoughtful questioning to help you navigate the layers hindering or causing you distress.

Your story is unique, and together, we'll craft your next chapter.
"The good life is a process, not a state of being.
It is a direction, not a destination."
Carl Rogers
